Operations & Founder Support Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations & Founder Support Officer to work closely with the founder across multiple creative, technology, and consumer ventures. This role focuses on coordination, follow-ups, documentation, and execution, ensuring projects move forward smoothly and on time.

The role also includes operational support for digital marketing and social media activities, such as account setup, content scheduling, and campaign coordination. Strategy and creative direction remain with the founder.

This is a part-time, remote-first role ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Coordination

  • Support daily operations and coordination across multiple projects

  • Track tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups

  • Coordinate with vendors, developers, partners, and service providers

  • Organize documents, files, and shared folders

  • Manage scheduling, meetings, and basic communications

  • Prepare short updates and progress summaries

Digital & Marketing Support

  • Assist with setting up and organizing social media accounts for Digital Gojo, Fun with Fidel, and D!NK Beauty

  • Upload content and manage basic platform settings

  • Support scheduling and coordination of posts and campaigns

  • Track campaign timelines, assets, and basic performance summaries

  • Coordinate with designers, content creators, or external support when needed

Founder Support

  • Provide general administrative and executive support to the founder

  • Support occasional in-person tasks in Addis Ababa when required

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities

  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and discreet

  • Confident using email, Google Docs, and basic digital tools

  • Comfortable supporting social media account setup and posting

  • Able to work independently in a remote environment

  • Prior experience in administration, coordination, operations, or project support is an advantage

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic digital marketing tools is an advantage

  • Based in Addis Ababa
